Assam: 12-year-old student’s beheaded body found in Madrasa

Shillong, August 13: In a shocking incident, dead body of a 12-year-old student was found beheaded in a dormitory room at Darus Salam Hafizia madrasa, located in Assam’s Cachar district.

As per IANS, the discovery was made early on Sunday, unraveling a distressing situation. The victim, identified as Rabijul Hussain, had retired to his room after dinner the previous night, only for his decapitated remains to be uncovered the following morning.

The disturbing scene was stumbled upon by a madrasa instructor who had entered the room to summon students for “Fazr Namaz.”

As authorities were alerted, the police swiftly took action, detaining three teachers and 20 students who shared the accommodation with Hussain.

The incident has cast a somber shadow over the madrasa, which has now been sealed off as investigations unfold. The tragic circumstances have sent shockwaves through the community.
