Shillong, August 14: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for the premiere of the quiz-based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’.

He expressed that the show has become an integral part of his life, allowing him to connect with both the in-studio audience and those tuning in from their homes.

IANS reported that with the theme of a #NewBeginning, the latest season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ aims to capture India’s progress, introducing tougher and more engaging gameplay. The show has consistently entertained audiences over the past 23 years, blending knowledge and entertainment seamlessly, with Big B hosting the show with his signature style and gravitas.

Amitabh Bachchan shared his thoughts on the upcoming season, stating, “Kaun Banega Crorepati has always been magnificent, grand, and impressive, but in its 15th season, we are embarking on a new journey – representing a changing India, its dreams, and its people who dream big.”

He emphasized how the show has become an integral connection point in his life, offering a platform to engage with both the in-studio contestants and the viewers at home. He eagerly anticipates interacting with contestants from various walks of life who serve as a tremendous source of inspiration for those aspiring to make a positive impact with the power of knowledge.

The new season introduces changes like the ‘Super Sandook,’ which injects excitement into the game by allowing contestants to recover lost ground. Additionally, the ‘Desh Ka Sawal’ feature encourages greater audience participation. Alongside existing lifelines like ‘Video Call a Friend’ and ‘Audience Poll,’ a new lifeline called ‘Double Dip’ has been incorporated, and the adrenaline-pumping ‘Fastest Finger First’ feature has made a comeback.

The show has also entered into a significant partnership with the Reserve Bank of India.

Neeraj Vyas, Business Head of Sony Entertainment Television, highlighted the show’s enduring popularity and its role in celebrating individuals who strive for greatness. He explained that the 15th season brings new elements to create an even more captivating gameplay experience, all hosted by the beloved superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
