Shillong College win NEHU inter-college football tourney

SHILLONG, Aug 31: The Sports Department of the North-Eastern Hill University organized the NEHU Inter College Football (Men) Tournament from the 21st of August to the 31st of August 2023 at the Sports Authority ofIndia (SAI) Football Ground, NEHU Permanent Campus, Shillong. All together 32 affiliated colleges toUniversity including NEHU UG and PG students of Shillong Campus and Tura Campus including teams’officials, more than 700 participants took part in the tournament.The final match of the tournament was played between Shillong College and St. Anthony’s College,where Shillong College won the match by 3-1.The Tournament ended with a presentation ceremony, where the Registrar of the North-Eastern Hill University Prof. S. R. Joshi graced the occasion as Chief Guest and MLA of the Mawlai Constituency Brightstarwell Marbaniang as Guest of Honour.
