Shillong, September 2: Renowned filmmaker Antoine Fuqua is working on a biopic about Michael Jackson that promises to portray the pop icon in all his facets, including “the good, bad, and the ugly.”

As per IANS, Fuqua, aged 57, shared insights into his highly anticipated project, describing it as his “next project” during an interview with Collider.

He explained that the aim of the biopic is to offer a comprehensive look at Michael Jackson, both as an artist and as a human being, allowing viewers to form their own opinions about the legendary figure.

However, the project is currently on hold due to an ongoing writers’ strike, and Fuqua is uncertain about when it will progress further. He stated, “I’m just kind of waiting to see where it all falls out.”

In recent times, Antoine Fuqua has been busy promoting his new movie, ‘The Equalizer 3,’ featuring stars Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning. Fuqua revealed that the two actors have developed a close bond, with Denzel taking on a mentor-like role for Dakota.

Fuqua shared that Denzel has a “little bit of a fatherly, mentor relationship” with Dakota, who first worked with him in the 2004 action film “Man on Fire.” Their connection has grown over the years, and Fuqua noted Denzel’s fascination with Dakota’s transformation into a mature actress during the filming of their latest project.
