‘Fukrey 3’ release date moved up to September 28 this year

Shillong, September 2: The highly anticipated ‘Fukrey 3,’ the latest installment of the beloved comedy film franchise, is set to hit theaters on September 28, earlier than its initially scheduled date of December 1. This release will mark a decade of laughter-filled ‘Fukrey’ movies.

As per IANS, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and written by Vipul Vig, ‘Fukrey 3’ features an outstanding ensemble cast, including Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Pankaj Tripathi, and the return of Richa Chadha in her iconic role.

The chemistry and comedic timing of this ensemble cast, along with their memorable characters, promise a hilarious and joyful cinematic experience. Amidst the wave of action-packed films in recent months, such as ‘Gadar 2,’ ‘Jailer,’ and the upcoming ‘Jawan’ releasing on September 7, ‘Fukrey 3’ brings a refreshing dose of comedy to the silver screen.

In celebration of over a decade of the ‘Fukrey’ franchise, the filmmakers plan to unveil the trailer next week, and it will be screened in theaters alongside ‘Jawan.’

While details about the film’s plot are limited, it appears that the familiar group of friends and foes will find themselves in hilariously bizarre situations, forcing them to once again have each other’s backs as they navigate a new, unintentional mess.

Bringing back the nostalgia associated with ‘Fukrey,’ the third installment is expected to deliver hearty laughs and remind audiences of the comedic gems from the previous two films.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, ‘Fukrey 3’ is all set to entertain audiences when it hits theaters on September 28, 2023, and will be distributed by Excel Entertainment.
