Tura, Sept 1: The KVK South Garo Hills organised a Millet Recipe Contest as part of celebration of International Year of Millets, 2023 at Nengkhong village under Baghmara Block in South Garo Hills on Friday, where 50 women farmers participated from the village.
An array of different local millet-based recipes prepared by the participants was displayed and the best recipes were rewarded with prizes.
The programme was attended by special guests from South Garo Hills namely Shri ChongthamKhelchandra, DDM, NABARD, Shri Peter Marak, JRDO, Baghmara C&RD Block and Shri Sengsrang Marak, BPM, MSRLS, Baghmara.
