Shillong, Sep 05: The FKJGP Malki circle on Tuesday has urged upon the KHADC to prohibit shop owners at Iewduh to permit their employees to stay inside the shops during the night.
“We have been informed that there are few shop owners who are allowing their employees to stay in the shops during the night. This should not be allowed as this may lead to unwanted incidents,” FKJGP Malki circle president, W Lyngdoh said after meeting KHADC CEM Pyniaid Sing Syiem here on Tuesday.
He further claimed that the KHADC CEM has assured that the committee will have a meeting to discuss on the matter sometime next week. “We hope there some action be initiated so none of employees are allowed to stay in the shops,” Lyngdoh added.
