Tura, Sep 7: The GSU, Western Zone North, Dadenggre on Thursday lent support to the demand of MTET passed candidates from the area seeking immediate recruitment, while at the same time questioning why the recruitment process was being delayed in the Civil Sub-Division.

“We want to know through the SDSEO why there is so much delay by authorities to put out an Advertisement for the recruitment. Our silence means we are giving the department enough time to reply to our previous query with regard to MTET passed candidates,” the union said, and warned that it would not stay silent anymore.

The union pointed out that other areas like Tura, Baghmara, Ampati and the Khasi and Jaintia Hills have completed the first phase of recruitment and questioned why the same process was being delayed in Dadenggre.

The union demanded that the first phase of recruitment be freshly conducted for the 1st batch of MTET passed candidates and urged authorities to take necessary step-s immediately.
