Accident claims 4 lives as truck plunges into gorge in J&K’s Ramban

Shillong, September 12: An accident occurred in the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, resulting in the loss of four lives.

As per India Today, the accident took place near Sher Bibi in the Banihal area when a truck, en route from Jammu to Srinagar, collided with a massive boulder, causing it to veer off the road and tumble into a deep gorge.

All four occupants of the truck tragically lost their lives, along with six cattle that were being transported for domestic purposes. Promptly responding to the scene, police and rescue teams recovered the bodies. Additionally, a landslide blocked traffic on the National Highway, leading to travel advisories from traffic officials.
