TURA, Sep 14: Students from Williamnagar in East Garo Hills have sought the holding of elections for offic-bearers of the GSU, East Zone Williamnagar, pointing out that the term of the previous one would soon come to an end.
The development comes following a meeting held in this regard on September 8.
In their letter to the president and secretary of the GSU, CEC, the students, while reminding that the term of the present office-bearers would come to an end this month, suggested that the elections be held within the second week of October.
