SHILLONG, Sep 21: Vice Chancellor, William Carey University, Meghalaya, Prof Soma Bhowmick, was elected as the vice president of Indian Political Science Association (IPSA) at the 60th All India Political Science Conference and International Seminar organised at Wardha, Maharashtra, recently.
IPSA is the oldest and the largest academic and professional body of teachers and scholars of Political Science and Public Administration in India.
The aims and intellectual traditions of IPSA are advancement of Political Science and Public Administration, scientific study of politics and administration, dissemination of knowledge, and rigorous political inquiry.
The Indian Journal of Political Science published by IPSA since 1939 is a UGC care listed journal.
