
Shillong, September 29: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has introduced the ‘Winter Action Plan’ to address the issue of air pollution in the city. The plan identifies 13 hot spots in the national capital, with an emphasis on preventive actions.
As per NDTV, an official statement noted that the inventory of major air pollution sources in these hot spots has been completed, allowing for focused preventive measures. Nodal Officers will be deployed specifically to address air pollution originating from these hot spots.
CM Kejriwal instructed officials to diligently adhere to the guidelines and ensure the full implementation of the 15-point plan to combat pollution. This initiative is part of the annual efforts by the Delhi government to tackle air quality issues during the winter season.
