Asian Games: Annu Rani clinches gold with impressive javelin throw

Shillong, October 3: Annu Rani achieved a remarkable victory in the women’s javelin final by delivering a season-best throw of 62.92m on Tuesday.

As per IANS, she began with a throw of 56.99m in her first attempt, but it was her fourth attempt that saw her excel with the 62.92m mark.

While her second attempt resulted in a new season-best of 61.28m, Annu Rani briefly lost her lead to Sri Lanka’s Nadeesha. However, she reclaimed the top spot with her fourth attempt, securing another season-best of 62.92m.
