NONGSTOIN, Oct 5: In a bid to explore the unexplored locations of West Khasi Hills, the Rural Youth Tourism Development & Promotion Society, Nongstoin will be organising a photography competition for beginners and professional photographers of the district on the theme ‘Treasure Hunt of West Khasi Hills’.
According to statement issued here, the contestant should submit the photo in JPEG format in its highest resolution.
The competition allows only three photos per
contestant and the images should not have a watermark, must not be advance edited or manipulated and the images should mention the location and distance from the district headquarters.
The competition is fully sponsored by Yess Meghalaya, and the winners in both professional and beginner category will be awarded with handsome cash prizes, chairman of the society KR Syiem informed.
