Shillong, October 11: Aamir Khan, the celebrated Bollywood actor renowned for his roles in films like ‘Rang De Basanti,’ ‘Sarfarosh,’ and ‘3 Idiots,’ has revealed that his eldest child, Junaid Khan, is stepping into the film industry as a producer.

As per IANS, Junaid’s debut production, titled ‘Pritam Pyaare,’ will also feature the Bollywood superstar in a brief cameo role lasting five minutes. Aamir Khan shared this exciting news during a media gathering while discussing the joys of parenthood.

Junaid, who is poised to make his acting debut in another film, has previously honed his skills in the theater for six years before venturing into cinema. His theatrical journey began in August 2017 under the guidance of director Quasar Thakore Padamsee, where he took on the role of Bertolt Brecht’s ‘Mother Courage and Her Children,’ a compelling satire underscoring the futility of war.

Speaking proudly of his son, Aamir expressed, “Junaid is now entering Bollywood as a producer, much like my father. With a fresh director and a new team, I’m delighted with his work. I’ll be making a five-minute cameo appearance in his film.”

While Junaid forays into film production, Aamir Khan himself is actively involved in producing several upcoming projects in the Indian film industry.
