Youth exchange prog ends on a successful note in EKH

SHILLONG, Oct 13: The two-day District Level Youth Exchange Programme 2023 was successfully conducted by the office of the District Sports Officer, East Khasi Hills, here on October 11 and 12.
Aimed to provide valuable opportunities to the youths of the district to participate in different events to showcase their talents and skills, the event revolved around the theme ‘Building a Better World Partnering with Youth’.
It was imparted that those who are performing well at the district level will represent the district in the state level, further it also aimed to select and provide exposure for youths at upcoming Northeast, National Youth Festival and International Youth Exchange Programmes.
On the first day an impactful session related to the youth was presented by resource persons from Immanuel Coaching Academy and Hundredfold Academy among others.
The second day had a session on entrepreneurship by resource persons from Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development & Outreach Sector Prime Hub Meghalaya and Eco-Ri (Waste Management Start-Up), Meghalaya.
Various competitions assisted by expert from Dept of Arts & Culture, Dept of Cultural & Creative Studies, NEHU, Meghalaya Fine Arts and other sources were conducted during the two-day event.
