Shillong, Oct 15: Meghalaya’s U-17 boys, representing the Assam Rifles Public School, continued their impressive run in Pool D of the U-17 boys’ Subroto Cup, securing their second consecutive resounding victory on Sunday.
They exhibited their dominance by overwhelming Navy School with an astounding 8-0 win. Meghalaya’s young talents showcased their prowess once again.
Phermanbha Lyngdoh, the standout performer, displayed his exceptional skills by netting his second consecutive hat-trick in as many days.
The scoreboard not only featured Lyngdoh’s outstanding performance but also individual goals from Milli Putum, Rodrygo Sympli, Iminstar Mawlong, Siamvangliana, and Jason Malsawmtluanga. , Meghalaya is now set to face Tamil Nadu on Tuesday.
