ITEP training for teachers

Jowai, Oct 19: Kiang Nangbah Government College, Jowai, organised a one-day ‘Handholding Session for Teaching Faculties on Implementation of ITEP aligned with NEP 2020’ on Wednesday in collaboration with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi.
The Principal of Kiang Nangbah Government College, Dr EM Blah, who delivered the Inaugural address, highlighted that Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) is a new teacher education programme initiated by NCTE and is offered in Multidisciplinary Higher Education Institutions in pilot mode.
Noted academician from the country and ITEP Curriculum Core Committee Member, Prof RC Patel was the main expert for the handholding session. Prof C Nongbri of Education Department, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong was also part of the programme.
She moderated the Second handholding session.
The Programme was chaired by Dr Teibor Papang, Assistant Professor of the college.
