TURA, Oct 22: The Regional Writers’ meet of the A’chik Literature Society (ALS) was organised, here recently.
Students from Mendipathar College, USTM, Don Bosco College, Tura, Don Bosco College Higher Secondary School, Tura, NEHU Department of Garo, MSW, ICFAI University, Tura Government College, Durama College, Miriam Russel Women’s College, Tura, PASF-Abong Noga College, Tura, etc presented their poem on different themes.
Kroshnil D Sangma, a noted writer poet and researcher in Garo, presented his article on the fate of Lower Primary Schools in Garo Hills and recited Chera Sola oral poetry.
Two poems of Hiracliush M Sangma were read out. Other executive members of the A•chik Literature Society presented their poems.
