The Department of Philosophy, NEHU will organise ‘The North-East Philosophy Teachers’ Meet 2023’ on ‘Revitalisation of Indian Philosophy: Decolonisation of Indian Mind’ from October 26 to 28. The event is sponsored by Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR) New Delhi. The inaugural function will be held at the seminar hall of U Kiang Nangbah Guest House (Old Guest House), NEHU, Shillong, at 11 am on Thursday. The chief guest is expected to be Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma.
Office-bearers
The new office bearers of the All Mrong Chra Association were elected in the body’s 3rd Annual General Meeting held in Tura recently. The association has been re-constituted with Rodrick Mrong as president, Jame Mrong and Shanding Mrong as vice presidents, Luckingbirth Mrong and Braver Mrong as general secretaries, besides other executive members.
