Shillong, Oct 27 In a thrilling showdown, Mawkriah West SC triumphed over Mawkasiang SC in a dramatic penalty shootout during the third quarterfinal match of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division.
The encounter, held at the First Ground, Polo, concluded without a single goal in regular time, ultimately resulting in a nail-biting 4-3 victory for Mawkriah West SC in the tiebreaker.
With this remarkable win, Mawkriah West SC secures their spot in the semifinals alongside Iatyllilang SC and Kharang SC. The competition remains fierce as the last quarterfinal fixture is set to take place tomorrow at 2 PM, at the same venue.
