Drug deal in broad daylight? Viral video raises questions

SHILLONG, Nov 7: A video which has now gone viral on social media has raised eyebrows on whether there is any fear of the law in the state.
The video shows two women allegedly dealing in drugs near Bimola Point in the city. Multiple men could be seen talking to the women who suspiciously handed over a certain item to them in exchange for money.
A police official said it appears that the women in the video were selling cannabis but did not confirm that it was the case.
The two women have not been arrested as of now.
Police also admitted that street-level peddling has been taking place and that they are continuing the fight against drugs, adding that huge seizures have also been made in the city lately.
