SHILLONG, Nov 7: IIM Shillong convened the 3rd CXO Round Table Meet and Stakeholder Meeting in Bangalore, a significant milestone in the institution’s 15-year journey of unwavering commitment to excellence.
Under the theme “Reconnect, Reflect, and Reimagine,” this event brought together an esteemed panel of industry leaders, academicians, stakeholders, and alumni to engage in profound discussions encompassing the evolving landscape of management education and the future of business management.
As the sole representative of the IIMs in the entire Northeastern region, IIM Shillong embarked on a celebratory journey that commenced in Delhi on October 15.
The panel discussions, with their focus on strengthening industry-academia engagements, highlighted the significance of identifying areas for developing new courses that ensure graduates are industry-ready. Key insights were shared by esteemed leaders including Dr Hrishikesh Damle, MD and Chief Executive Officer at Atrimed Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.; Mahipal Nair, MD and Vice President/Head of Human Resources, India & APJ at Trellix India; Carol Furtado, Chief Business Officer at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank; Nanda Kishore, Chief Operating Officer at Americas One WIPRO Ltd; and Sukesh Choubey, Senior Partner Technology Consulting Leader at EY GDS (Global Delivery Services).
