M’laya name squad for eves’ National Football C’ship

Shillong, Nov 8: The Meghalaya Football Association has unveiled its formidable squad of 22 players, set to compete in the upcoming Senior Women’s National Football Championship 2023-24.
The team from Meghalaya has been placed in Group E, alongside Odisha, Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, and Gujarat, as determined during the draw held in New Delhi this past July.
The stage for Meghalaya’s matches will be Sundargarh, Odisha, with all participating teams converging at the venue on the 10th of November. The journey for Meghalaya’s squad commences with a clash against Odisha on the 12th of November, followed by fixtures against Gujarat two days later, Arunachal Pradesh on the 16th of November, and their final group match against Goa on the 19th of November.
With this formidable lineup, Meghalaya is geared up to make a mark in the Senior Women’s National Football Championship and showcase their skills on the national stage. Football enthusiasts eagerly await the exciting matches ahead as these talented athletes represent their state with pride and determination.
