Nongpoh, Nov 12: In a tragic incident, two individuals died of electrocution in Kpepsyiem, Ri-Bhoi, on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Lal Lapang (65) and Pian Namsaw (44), both residents of Umden La-ang.
the duo visited Kpepsyiem on Saturday night, where they suffered fatal electrocution due to high voltage electricity.
The villagers discovered their lifeless bodies on Sunday morning around 8:30 am.
The police transported the deceased to Byrnihat CHC for requisite formalities; however exemption of post-mortem was granted.
