Shillong, Nov 16: Shillong Lajong FC earned their place in the final of the OIL-DFA All India U-19 Inter-Academy Invitational Football Tournament 2023 in Duliajan, Assam, with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Classic Football Academy of Imphal on Thursday.
In the gripping first semifinal clash, Rimankhraw Kharumnuid found the back of the net, securing the lone goal that propelled Shillong Lajong FC into the championship decider. This earned him the Player of the Match.
