Free LPG
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills, has informed that the Centre through the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has approved the release of additional free LPG connections to all eligible women beneficiaries of economically weaker section under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) 3.0 Scheme throughout the country. In order to avail the benefits, the DC’s office has advised all deserving families to apply for free gas connection directly from any nearest gas agency within the district. The last date for submission of application is December 31.
