Ampati, Nov 18: The exciting conclusion of the 3rd Women’s Football Tournament and the inaugural Inter-Mahari Football Tournament, organized by the District Sports Office, Ampati, South West Garo Hills, unfolded on Saturday.
In the 3rd Women’s Football Tournament, Krimkro FC emerged as the victorious team, securing their triumph in a thrilling match against Sisters United with a 1-1 draw and a decisive tiebreaker of 4-1.
Dodime Domanchi M Sangma of Krimkro FC claimed the title of the highest scorer, while Nokame M Marak of Krimkro FC earned the Best Goalkeeper award.
The Best Player title was awarded to Brichina Sangma of Sisters United.
In the 1st Edition Agitok Mahari FC had clinched the championship.
