TURA, Nov 29: An FIR has been filed against 4 persons from Rompa A’sim in South Garo Hills for allegedly misusing the Nokma pad and forging the signature of the Nokma, who has since been deceased.
The FIR was filed with the office in-charge of Baghmara Police Station, by one Lohan R Marak, Secretary of Nokma Committee, Rompa A’sim Me’cheng Mahari A’kingland, against Lodina M Sangma (Nokma’s wife), Ringnan M Sangma, Lucking M Sangma and Senggrang M Sangma.
According to the FIR, the complainants misused the Nokma pad by issuing a Nokma document on November 7 this year, in the name of deceased nokma, Sulonsing A Sangma.
