Five priests ordained in Tura

Tura, Dec 2: As part of the closing ceremony of the golden jubilee celebrations of Tura Diocese, five deacons were ordained priests by Bishop of Tura, Andrew R Marak here on Saturday.
The newly ordained deacons are Anthony Marak SDB, Thomas Ch Sangma, Parciush R Marak SJ, Martin A Sangma and Bromeo Ch Marak SDB.
The solemn ceremony witnessed over 110 priests participating in the Holy Eucharistic celebration, symbolizing solidarity and support for the newly ordained priests.
Many devoted faithful from across Garo Hills and Shillong were present reflecting the significance and widespread impact of the event within the community.
The Bishop of Tura expressed his gratitude to the parents and relatives who have dedicated their sons to priesthood for serving the people of the church.
