A district level function for the launching of Mobile Demonstration Vans will be organised by the office of the district election officer, East Khasi Hills at the parking lot, DC’s office, on December 1 at 9:30 a.m.

December 13 has been declared holiday in West Khasi Hills on account of “U Sib Singh Syiem Day”, an official statement here informed. ‘All state government offices and all revenue, magisterial courts, educational institutions in the district are to remain closed on the mentioned date’.
