SSA teachers thank govt for hearing their pleas

Tura, Dec 15:  The All Garo Hills SSA School Teachers’ Association (AGHSSASTA) has expressed gratitude to the government for releasing their pending salaries till November as well as pending arrears before Christmas.

The association in particular thanked Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma, State Project Director (SEMAM), finance officers besides others for hearing their plea.

“Our salaries have been cleared till November as well as our pending arrears from 2016-17 PAB was also cleared by the State Government. It has been a great relief this year and we are thankful to the government,” the association said, in a statement.
