Shillong, December 18: Dawood Ibrahim, underworld don, has been admitted to a Karachi hospital due to a severe health complication, as reported by many media platforms.

India Today reported that while social media has been rife with reports suggesting that Ibrahim may have been poisoned, no official confirmation has been provided, according to information shared by his aide.

Ibrahim’s hospitalization occurred two days ago, and he is reportedly under stringent security measures within the hospital. Sources told India Today that he is the sole occupant of his hospital floor, with access limited to top hospital authorities and close family members.

The Mumbai Police are actively seeking additional information about the underworld don’s hospitalization, reaching out to his relatives Alishah Parkar and Sajid Wagle. In a January revelation, the son of Haseena Parker, Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, informed the National Investigating Agency (NIA) that the underworld figure resides in Karachi after a second marriage.

According to the NIA chargesheet, Dawood Ibrahim and his key associates are alleged to wield control over Karachi airport in Pakistan. The unfolding events surrounding Ibrahim’s health and the associated speculations add a layer of intrigue to the already enigmatic world of this underworld don.
