Players of Dhanamanjuri University, Manipur (in blue and black) and Dibrugarh University vie for the ball during the North East Zone Inter University match. National Sports University emerged champions at the North East Zone Inter University Football (Men) Tournament which concluded at the Royal Global University. While NSU Manipur emerged winners, North Eastern Hill University Shillong bagged silver, Dhanamanjuri University, Manipur bagged bronze, and Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh finished fourth. JetleeBuragohain of NSU, Manipur was adjudged the best player of the tournament, while Banshamskhem Kharsymtion of NEHU was adjudged the best goal keeper of the tournament.
