TURA, Dec 18: TMC youth leader Richard Marak on Monday blamed both the NPP-led MDA government in the state as well as the NDA government at the Centre, for the various dues and pending benefits meant for the people.
“Both the NPP-led MDA government and the BJP-led NDA government at the center should be held accountable for the pending dues, including MGNREGA, PMAY, PM-Kisan, specially-abled, widow, and old age pension schemes, etc. It’s crucial to ask whether it is due to the state government’s incompetency or the central government’s lack of attention. With power comes responsibility, and it’s their duty to ensure that the people receive what is rightfully theirs,” Marak said, in a statement.
He said that the dues were not gifts or favours, but the hard-earned money of the people which should be paid immediately, especially before Christmas.
