Athletes shine in yogasana championships

Shillong, Dec 21: The Meghalaya Yoga Association organized the 42nd Annual State Yogasana Championships at the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture auditorium in Shillong, showcasing remarkable talent and dedication in the ancient discipline.
The event, held recently, witnessed participants across different age groups competing at the highest level of yogic prowess.
In the 8-11 years Mixed Group category, Sandip Dey secured the top position, with Arindam Choudhury and Subhadeep Das claiming the 1st and 2nd Runners up spots, respectively. Aritra Choudhury emerged as the Winner in the 11-14 years Mixed Group, with Shreyangshu Chanda and Manzil Baglari clinching the 1st and 2nd Runners up positions.The Men’s Open Age Group category showcased outstanding performances, with Obhi Das taking the Winner’s position, followed by Prahlad Singh Shikhawat as the 1st Runners up and Pritam Das securing the 2nd Runners up spot.
