SHILLONG, Jan 6: The body of a person who had gone missing since January 4 was found hanging from a tree in 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong area on Saturday.
It was informed that the person identified as Blessingson Fancon had left his house on the afternoon of January 4 and never returned.
Police said that on Saturday morning, his body was found hanging on a tree in a forest on the way to Umjasai River in 3rd Mile. Police have ruled out any foul play in the matter indicating that it was a case of suicide.
