UDP authorises party leader to meet Malngiang

Shillong, Jan 9: The UDP has authorized party leaders to reach out to its party MDC from Nongkrem, Lambor Malngiang to know about his stance.
Party president, Metbah Lyngdoh on Tuesday said that he has authorised few of the party leaders meet with malngiang.
While speaking to reporters, Lyngdoh said that the party would want to hear from Malngiang to clarify on the reasons for his decision to extend support to the NPP-led Executive Committee in the KHADC.
“We are going to meet as a party to discuss on Malngiang’s issue,” he said.
Earlier, Parliamentary Party leader in the KHADC, Titosstarwell Chyne had informed that the party leadership will meet at the earliest to discuss the letter of party MDCs seeking disciplinary action against Malngiang.
