Jowai, Jan 10: The Dorbar Shnong Tuber Kmai organised a rally and marched from Madan Yurim to Laisieh Kynda, Tuber Kmaishnong on Wednesday to condemn the alleged brutal attack on village leaders by Training Phawa on January 3.
Residents of the village took part in the rally expressing their dissent and demanding that the accused who holds the post of finance secretary of the JNC central body be removed from the post immediately.
The dorbar shnong assured that such antisocial and disturbing incidents should not be tolerated again by maintaining strict and orderly management in the village thus paving the way to peace and harmony across the nook and corner of the village, Micky Lyngdoh said in a statement here.
