Shillong, Jan 17: President Droupadi Murmu’s scheduled visit to Assam’s Karbi Anglong district to attend the golden jubilee celebrations of the Karbi Youth Festival was cancelled due to inclement weather.
The President, who was scheduled to fly out of Shillong at 10 am, had to wait for five and a half hours because of unfavourable weather in Diphu, Assam, before flying back to Delhi.
