Workshop on teaching-learning at MLCU

SHILLONG, Jan 24: The Martin Luther Christian University, (MLCU) Shillong organised a three-day teaching-learning workshop for its faculty and theological institutes associated with the university from January 22 to 24.
The workshop was attended by faculties from the different departments, schools and centres of the university along with institutes of Manipur, Nagaland and Meghalaya, which include Mason Philips Academy, Meghalaya, Indian Institute of Theological Study, Meghalaya, INPI Educational Trust, Manipur, Evangelical College of Theology, Manipur, Reformed School of Theology, Manipur, United College Theology and Missions, Nagaland, Logos College, Nagaland.
With the shift in the teaching-learning processes and to meet the learning outcome of the learner, the workshop was conducted to enable them to keep abreast with the changing pedagogical approaches, academic concepts and policies of MLCU, and to be familiar with the guidelines of National Education Policy, 2020.
The faculty members were oriented on the importance of developing innovative, interactive teaching approaches and learning materials as per the 21st-century learner skills which are learner-centred.
