Nokmas resent Tura master plan

TURA, March 15: The Council of Nokmas in Tura on Friday sent a missive the Commissioner and Secretary to the Meghalaya Government, Urban Affairs Department, in which they opposed the draft master plan for Tura which had been notified earlier. The Nokmas in their letter pointed out that some of the lands that fall under Nokma a’kings had been included in the Draft Master Plan.
