SHILLONG, March 19: At a time when authorities are taking measures to open a park at Golf Link Road area, random playing of golf without proper management is raising safety concern among the general public.
A golf ball reportedly hit a car belonging to a female government employee working at NEHU campus, completely cracking the front window shield and leaving the female driver injured and bleeding.
This reportedly transpired at 10 am on March 12.
Some players were reportedly playing at the site of the golf field where practising the sport is not allowed. When the matter was not brought to the notice of the golf club management, the players nor the management took any responsibility forcing the victim to seek legal aid from Pasteur Beat House.
