SHILLONG, March 19: The Voice of the People Party has reposed its faith on the public to support clean politics to bring about a change in the Lok Sabha polls on April 19.
VPP spokesperson Batskhem Myrboh said the party has been encouraged due to the fact that people have been increasingly embracing the truth that clean politics is of the greatest importance for development and good governance.
He said the party will intensify its campaign and they will try to reach every nook and corner of the Shillong parliamentary constituency.
The VPP with its ideology of clean politics has found an appeal with the masses and while the political parties in the fray for Shillong seat are highlighting issues and development as their main agenda, the VPP is committing to uproot corruption and bring about transparency, he added.
