Resubelpara, March 23: The office of the District TB Control Society, NTEP, East Garo Hills on Friday observed World Tuberculosis Day at the Multi facility Hall, Bajengdoba, North Garo Hills.
The programme was observed with the aim to spread awareness on Tuberculosis, eliminating fear of TB and to end discrimination and stigma related to TB disease.
Bajengdoba CDPO, Frederick D Sangma graced the event as the chief guest which was also attended by Dr Chrissie Pearly Sangma, District TB officer East & North Garo Hills, Dr Cherubie Sangma, MO-TC, Resubelpara and other Medical officials of MOTC, East Garo Hills.
During the programme, participants took pledge dedicating themselves towards a TB free India by 2025.
