Vehicles stolen
Arel R Marak lodged a complaint that on March 29, miscreant(s) stole his Bolero vehicle (AS-01BN-0080) from his residential compound at Pillangkata in Ri-Bhoi.
Silsan M Sangma of Upper Sangsanggre, Tura, lodged a complaint that on Mar 29, he found that his motorcycle (ML-08F-6793) was missing from NH-51, Tura-Dalu Road.
Sanjib Das lodged a complaint that on March 29 afternoon, he found that his motorcycle (ML-08J-8109) was missing from a place at Phulbari.

Burglary
Huntine Synrem lodged a complaint that on March 28, the main door and almirahs in her house at Mawngap Mawkharshiing were damaged and Rs 40,000 in cash was found missing from the house.
Dariwan Rupsi lodged a complaint that on March 28 at about 11 am, miscreant(s) stole Rs 22 lakh in cash from his residence at Ladrymbai Dongwah village in East Jaintia Hills.
Bodruzzaman Sarkar lodged a complaint that on March 28, he noticed that miscreants broke into the store of M/S Zaman at Sakmal, West Garo Hills, and stole materials valued around Rs 3,78,100.

Cattle seized
R Khongwir lodged a complaint (March 29) that a truck (ML-05K-3081), driven by Kobarsing Rynjah (43), was found transporting 16 head of cattle in violation of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. The cattle were handed over to Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Officer, Pynursla Sub-Division.
Rangjeng G Momin, Nokma of Jenggitchagre village in West Garo Hills, lodged a complaint that on March 29, circa 1 am, residents of Jenggitchagre village detained a vehicle (AS-01AT-9602) along with three occupants while they were attempting to load a head of stolen cattle into their vehicle. However, the accused persons managed to escape.

Damage to property
H Challam, Home Guard Volunteer of Jowai Traffic Branch, lodged a complaint that on March 27, around 10.15 am, he clamped a Maruti Alto K10 (ML-04D-6822) driven by one N Siangshai for violation of ‘No Parking Zone’ at Sumo Stand, New Hills, Jowai. However, the driver later threatened the complainant with dire consequences and also forcibly moved the vehicle causing damage to the wheel-clamp.
