Marbiangdor Myrthong has been awarded PhD from the Department of History, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong for his doctoral research titled ‘Hima Sohra from Colonial to Contemporary Times,’ which he completed under the supervision of Prof Amena N Passah. He is a resident of Lummawbah Upper Shillong, and the son of (L) Tbn. Kordorlang Marbaniang and Midalin Myrthong. He is the husband of Dr Dabet Rynga.
