Shillong, April 19: The voice of the people’s party is confident that the massive turn out during their election rallies will definitely translate into votes.

Speaking to reporters, after casting his vote, VPP candidate Ricky J Syngkon said that the party will cross the winning margins with the feedback they are getting. He also agreed that the massive turn out at public rallies will translate into votes .

On accusation of VPP crossing all lines of decency during the campaigning process, he said it is the fear and insecurities of rival political parties playing up knowing very well they are losing.

Talking about choosing not to skip the voting queue despite being offered to do so, he said this is what the VPP is trying to teach to the public and as leaders they have to set an example of practising what they preach.
