SHILLONG, April 22: The Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (MIDC) has acquired ‘ISO 9001:2015’ and ‘ISO 14001:2015’ certifications, becoming the sole state Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) in Meghalaya to achieve both distinctions.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification authenticates MIDC’s Quality Management System (QMS), validating its capability in offering top-tier services in plot allotment, loan processing, and building construction. Concurrently, the ISO 14001:2015 certification highlights MIDC’s environmental consciousness, showcasing its efforts in reducing ecological footprints and championing sustainable practices.
Chairman of MIDC James PK Sangma emphasised the significance of these certifications in demonstrating the corporation’s commitment to excellence and eco-conscious operations.
