Campaign to tackle child health issues

SHILLONG, April 29: As part of World Immunisation Week, the Indian Academy of Pediatrics has announced the commencement of nationwide campaign, viz. ‘IAP Ki Baat, Community Ke Saath’, which is aimed at tackling critical issues in child health.
According to a statement here, the initiative endeavours to engage communities and disseminate crucial information on child health over a two-year period.
“By focusing on topics including obesity, measles, autism, Down syndrome, and thalassemia, IAP aims to ensure accessible and relevant information for all, thereby contributing to enhanced societal well-being,” the statement said.
